Bollywood’s Pooja Bhatt shares fond memories of Geo News editor Nadia Faisal after her passing

Bollywood’s renowned director and actress Pooja Bhatt shared a heartfelt note on the death of Geo News editor Nadia Faisal, who recently passed away after a prolonged fight against cancer.

In her note, Bhatt stated that she is finding it hard to process the reality of Nadia’s passing, whom she referred her as a ‘dear friend’.

“I don’t think I am ever going to process this reality.. that the brightest,nicest individual I had the privilege of calling a dear friend has gone. Your laughter,mirth & irrepressible capacity to exude joy and exert grace under much pressure shall resonate and echo in the void you leave in us all. RIP Nieni.. see you sooner than later amongst the constellations,in a land where love precedes everything and more,” she wrote in an Instagram post.

Nadia Faisal, a senior lifestyle reporter and editor of the entertainment desk at Geo News, passed away in Karachi on Tuesday.

More commonly known by her friends and colleagues as 'Neini', Nadia Faisal was a senior journalist associated with the entertainment news industry for several years during which she worked for several television channels.

During her 13-year-long long association with Geo News, she oversaw the television channel's entertainment coverage as head of the Entertainment Desk, and covered music, film, art, theatre, and fashion in her news reports.
