LAHORE: A man allegedly gang-raped his own newly-wed wife with the help of his brother in the city's Shahdara area, police said Thursday, adding that they have filed a first information report (FIR).

According to the FIR, the alleged rapist was identified as Waseem, a resident of Fazal Park in Lahore's Shahdara neighbourhood who was married to the survivor — hailing from Shakargarh — a few days ago.

Four days after the reception, the husband, Waseem, and his brother, Amir, gang-raped Waseem's newly-wed wife, the FIR stated.

The FIR — filed on behalf of the survivor's father — named Waseem, brother Amir, father Noor, and Waseem's mother as well.
