PARIS: The Pakistani diaspora residing in France on Friday observed the Kashmir Hour alongside the rest of the world to show their solidarity with the Himalayan region's oppressed people.

Among the attendees were notables of the Pakistani and Kashmiri communities and the members of the Pakistani Embassy in the French capital.

At the event, Pakistan's Ambassador to France, Moin-ul-Haque, said the Pakistani community stood strong with the Kashmiri people in these challenging times.

Pakistan would continue its political, diplomatic, and moral support to Kashmiri folks, Haque stressed, adding that Prime Minister Imran Khan had vowed to play the role of Kashmir's ambassador.

"We are all well aware of the concerning and tragic situation in Indian occupied Kashmir since the past few weeks," he said.

The ambassador added: "All our communities around the world, on Prime Minister Imran Khan's appeal, are observing the Kashmir Hour.

"We all saw how the entire Pakistani nation at 12AM stood strong to express their solidarity with the Kashmiri folks."
