MIRPURKHAS: A baby born with two heads in the Mirpurkhas district's Digri town was shifted to Karachi over health concerns, locals doctors confirmed on Monday.

The doctors at the private hospital said the baby was shifted to Karachi because its life was in danger. However, its body and limbs were perfectly fine, they added.

The hospital's administrator, Dr Mansoor, explained that the newborn's parents hailed from the nearby village of Dambalo and that it was delivered via Caesarean section (C-section).

The baby's life was in danger, which is why it was necessary to move it to Karachi, Dr Mansoor said.
