Social media was flooded with rumours regarding Afghan cricketer Mohammad Nabi's death on Friday.

Reports claimed that the cricketer died of a heart attack, prompting the Afghan Cricket Board to tweet pictures of a practice match where the bowler could be seen in action.

Despite being denied vehemently, the rumours refused to die down till  Saturday morning when Mohammad Nabi himself dispelled all doubts.

The cricketer took to Twitter to inform his followers that news of his death was "fake" and that he was "all good"

The Afghan cricket star retired from Test cricket last month after helping Afghanistan thrash Bangladesh in the one-off Test
