LAHORE: Singer Rabi Pirzada on Friday accused lawyers representing Punjab's Wildlife Protection and Parks Department of launching personal attacks against her in a court hearing.
Appearing before the court on Friday days after it issued arrest warrants for her for keeping wild animals as pets, Pirzada said: "It seems to me that they are launching personal attacks against me.
"They are not telling that they have found nothing [against me]," she told media outside the court, without elaborating on how she was personally attacked by the lawyers.
The singer had found herself in hot water after her pictures and videos with exotic animals such as alligators, snakes, and pythons went viral on the Internet.
The pictures and videos were also aired by a TV channel before the authorities decided to move against her.
