PML-N dismisses AJK polls
ISLAMABAD: After MQM, the PML-N has also stated that polls in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) should be held again, Geo News reported.

PML-N AJK representative, Raja Farooq said that a party meeting would be called to decide if the oath for the AJK seats would be taken. Speaking alongside Siddique-ul-Farooq, Raja Farooq said the party had dismissed election results in AJK.

He added that a request to postpone polls till July 8 was made due to irregularities but the PPP in cohesion with the Election Commission created a sham to obtain the desired results.

The PML-N had all its options open including going to the courts. Farooq said that a strong Election Commission be formed and the voters list should be corrected and on that basis new elections should be held.
