CHICHAWATNI: Four men gang-raped three teenage paper-picking girls after kidnapping them from a local bus stop, police said on Thursday, adding that they have arrested one of the accused.
Chichawatni police noted that three of the four accused — among whom are two brothers as well — remain absconding and were yet to be apprehended.

Officials said the accused had kidnapped the three paper-picking girls, aged 13 to 14, from a bus stop whereafter they took them to a house in Meherabad neighbourhood where they gang-raped them and took turns assaulting them.
A first information report (FIR) was registered against the four accused men after the report of the medical test the survivors underwent confirmed the gang-rape.

One of the four alleged predators named in the case was arrested but the other three remained in the wind.
On the other hand, the survivors' families alleged that the alleged rapists forced the three girls to consume hashish before sexually assaulting them.
