Sharif brothers launch taxi scheme
LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim Leabue-N Chief Nawaz Sharif along with Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif launched a taxi scheme for the province.

Talking to media, Nawaz Sharif said the government had failed in overcoming the problems of price hike and unemployment.

He said had the deficit of state-run organizations been controlled, there would have been no need for assistance like Kerry-Lugar bill.

Nawaz Sharif said he did not accept the statement of Indian prime minister on Kashmir.

On the occasion, Shahbaz Sharif said although the yellow cab scheme would not eliminate unemployment, it would at least help decrease it to some extent and added that transparency would be ensured in the implementation of the scheme.

He maintained that the previous yellow tractors scheme was also implemented in a transparent manner. “Those who are being critical of the scheme are people who robbed the Bank of Punjab, NICL and Rental Power project,” he added.

Shahbaz Sharif, on the occasion, also took a test drive of a cab.
