LAHORE: City Traffic Police, during a crackdown, arrested 17 beggars in May who were creating hurdles in traffic while begging at signals and important roads of the city.
The police handed over the beggars to district police and registered cases against them.
Chief Traffic Officer Syed Ahmad Mobin said that the crackdown would continue against beggars. (APP)
