AJK rigging: PML-N approaches court
MUZZAFFARABAD: The PML-N has filed a petition in the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) High Court against rigging and the postponement of polls, Geo News reported. Prior to this the MQM had also filed a petition hearing for which has been adjourned till Saturday.

The petition filed by PML-N lawyer Raja Sadaqat states that rigging took place on three AJK legislative assembly seats and candidates who won these seats should be stopped from taking oath. The petition also states that elections on seats where polls were postponed be conducted only after new voter lists have been prepared.

The court also heard the case pertaining to the petition filed by the MQM in regards to postponement of polls in Karachi on AJK legislative assembly seats. The court heard arguments on the answer submitted by the Election Commission.

Meanwhile hearing continues on the petition filed by Muslim Conference candidate Abdul Qayum Niazi who was victorious in LA-17. His petition is against re-polling in this constituency.
