Federal Minister for petroleum, Dr. Aasim Hussain in a meeting with the Chairman All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA), Ghauhar Ijaz gave this assurance.
APTMA chairman said that the textile industry would be working five days a week as against currently four days, following the supply of additional gas.
Gauhar Ijaz further said that the textile industry since April has thus far already incurred a loss of $1.52 billion.
