Gujrat man arrested for raping minor boy, sharing abuse video on Internet

GUJRAT: A man was arrested Tuesday for raping a minor boy, filming the abuse, and sharing the indecent video on the Internet, police confirmed, adding that they had successfully nabbed the suspect in 12 hours.

The incident had occurred in the district's Kunjah town and, on the orders of the district police officer (DPO) for Gujrat, Syed Tauseef Haider, the suspect was arrested in 12 hours after the first alert and a first information report (FIR) registered against him.

DPO Haider said men who sexually abused children did not deserve any sort of mercy and that strict action would be taken to put them behind bars immediately.
