Fire erupts in wood godown in city

RAWALPINDI: Fire erupted in a wood godown in the locality of Amar pura here on Thursday.

Resuce 1122 reached on the spot to launch an operation.

According to detail, rescue 1122 received an information that fire had eupted in a godwon in the locality at Amar pura near Gayan Wala Chowk.

After hectic efforts the fire was put off and no loss to human life, was reported. The reason of fire is not yet ascertained.

Due to the timely operation rescue 1122 saved valuables worth millions.
