Faisalabad man strangles sister to death with bare hands over 'honour'

FAISALABAD: A man strangled his sister to death with his bare hands allegedly over "honour" here in the district's Jaranwala, police sources confirmed on Friday.

According to Faisalabad police sources, the suspect — identified as Nasir — strangled his sister, Amna, to death in anger over the so-called "honour" and fled the crime scene.

The body was taken into custody and sent to a local hospital for post-mortem, sources said, noting that legal action against the suspect was initiated.
