Anti-encroachment operation continues

LAHORE: The district administration on Friday continued its clean-up operation and removed various illegal structures in more than 25 kilometres area in all the nine towns.

The administration of the towns and LDA following directions of the DCO participated in the operation and removed illegally constructed shops, several pedestals and other illegal structures.

City administration sources stated here that special teams also seized six truckloads of different materials.

The towns have also been directed by the DCO to monitor areas continuously where encroachments had been removed to avoid reconstruction of illegal structures.
