Chishtian man rapes minor boy after offering to teach how to drive a bike

CHISHTIAN: A man allegedly raped a minor boy after enticing him with an offer to teach him how to drive a bike here in Bahawalnagar's tehsil, police said Wednesday, adding that they have registered a first information report (FIR) over the matter.

Police said the incident occurred in Chak 22, Gujiani of Bahawalpur's Chishtian when a man tricked the seven-year-old boy and then sexually assaulted him. The alleged sexual predator then fled the crime scene.

The FIR was filed on behalf of the survivor's father and the boy was shifted to the district headquarters (DHQ) hospital for a medical check-up, police said.

Police added that the truth can only be ascertained once the medical report was released.
