JAFFERABAD: Polling is underway in the by-election for the Balochistan provincial assembly seat Jafferabad-II PP-26, which would continue without break until 5 P.M.

1,53,739 voters would be exercising their rights of franchise. One thousand security personnel have been posted for the holding of peaceful polling. All the 86 polling stations have declared sensitive, while 43 polling stations highly sensitive.

Jafferabad-II PP-26 has been lying vacant since last one year, following Mir Zahoor Hussain Khosa, who was declared ineligible for his fake degree.

According to Election Commission 27 candidates contesting in the by-poll, while a hard contest expected between the PPP Mir Abdul Rahman Jamali and N-League Naim Khosa.
