KARACHI: Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wasan said Saturday that it was not easy to catch target killers and it would take time for the situation in Karachi to improve, Geo News reported.
Speaking to the media at the Karachi Police head office, he said that he did not possess Aladdin's lamp nor did he have a magic wand which would improve conditions, adding that Rehman Malik would not have to come to the city.
He said that since January, 189 people had fallen victim to target killing and he would tour the troubled areas of the city and would meet the people there.
He said that his appointment was made at a time when the situation in the city was bad and after evaluating the situation it was evident that Karachi was being destroyed.
According to Manzoor Wasan, 157 people had been arrested who were involved in target killing and other illegal activities adding that it was not easy to catch terrorists and this would require time.
