Netherlands’ Queen Maxima meets PM Imran

ISLAMABAD: Netherlands’ Queen Maxima met with Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday where the Pakistani leader lauded Her Majesty’s resolve to provide assistance for development projects.

According to a statement from the PM House today, the prime minister apprised the Netherlands’ queen about the welfare projects including the Ehsaas Programme.

In the meeting today, the prime minister said that the Ehsaas Programme will help women and children in the long run, adding that the project aims to eradicate poverty and assist in capacity-building of women.

Queen Maxima lauded the efforts of the Pakistani government for ending poverty and expressed resolve to continue cooperation with Pakistan.

The PM House statement further said that the Netherlands’ queen emphasised on promotion of technological use in financial matters.
