Wrestling team's participation in commonwealth in doubt

LAHORE: The Pakistan wrestling team’s upcoming participation in the commonwealth wrestling championship in Australia is in doubt due to the non-availability of funds, Geo News reported. The wrestling championship will take place in Melbourne from August 5 to 7.

Seven Pakistan wrestlers and two officials were scheduled to leave for Melbourne on August 2, however the wrestling federation did not receive any travel funds from the sports board nor did they get NOCs for their visas.
