He defeated Jalil Khan in the final of the tournament played at the Modern Club.
Aqeel Khan won the first set 6-2 and was leading 4-0 in the second set when Jalil Khan retired due to being unfit.
The winner of the tournament received Rs 18,000 in prize money while Rs 9,000 was given to the runner-up.
The men’s singles semi-finals will be played on Saturday.
