70 rioting Larkana jail prisoners surrender

LARKANA: At least 70 agitating prisoners during the police operation surrendered themselves to the Larkana Central Jail officials here, Geo news reported.

Larkana Central Jail SP, Abdul Ghaffar Dhar said that the prisoners yesterday went on a rampage protesting against the process of some 200 prisoners’ shifting to some other jails.
Later, the prisoners turning violent smashed the locks of three barracks and shattered the jail door.

The jail officials with the help of heavy contingents of district police and rangers started operation for controlling the violent prisoners, which proved fruitful and 70 of the rebellious prisoners surrendered themselves, however, the riotous situation still prevails.
