LAHORE: The CNG stations in Lahore, Gojranawala and Multan region were shutdown Monday morning at 6.00 A.M. for two and a half days under the gas load management, Geo News reported.
CNG stations owners said that the investment in this sector was badly hit, while citizens complain of forcing them to buy costly fuel for their vehicles besides rickshaw and taxi drivers are charging whimsical fares on the pretext of unavailability of CNG, public transporters have cut down the frequency of the buses and coaches to double their loads and thereby their profits much to the inconvenience of the people.
CNG stations in Multan region---Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffargarh, Lyia, Rajanpur, Vehari, Khanewal and Chechawatni were shutdown Monday morning at 6.00 A.M for two and a half days to open Wednesday afternoon at 3.00 P.M.
Gojranawala six districts—Gujrat, Hafizabad, Narowal, Mandi Bahauddin, Gojranawala and Sialkot CNG stations have also closed down for two and a half days.
Every week two and a half days and some time for three days of CNG stations’ closure piling miseries on the people as well as the daily wage employees including those working on these stations.
