The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Thursday decided to file a robbery case against Director General of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Wajid Zia, said party spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb.

"FIA raided PML-N’s central secretariat without a warrant," she claimed.

The raid confirms former DG FIA Bashir Memon’s story that he refused to follow Prime Minister Imran Khan’s instructions, said Aurangzeb.

It also backs Judge Arshad Malik’s claims that he was pressured to give the verdict against Nawaz Sharif, she said.

FIA on Thursday raided Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz's central secretariat in Model Town, Lahore in connection with former accountability court judge Arshad Malik's video scandal case.

PML-N leader Ata Tarar confirmed FIA's raid, adding that the agency took a computer hard drive in its custody. He said that the drive contained data related to PML-N's internal matters.

The purpose of the raid was to confiscate material related to the case, sources privy to the matter told Geo News.
