‘Mere Paas Tum Ho’: Ayeza Khan was not the first choice for role of Mehwish

Pakistani actress Ayeza Khan, who is essaying a controversial character in the drama serial Mere Paas Tum Ho, was not the first choice for the role of Mehwish, as revealed by media reports.

According to reports, Ayeza Khan was not the first choice of director Nadeem Baig. He had selected acclaimed actress Sonya Hussain for Mehwish's role, however she had refused due to her busy schedule and some other reservations.

This was disclosed by Sonya in an interview recently. She also opened up about her ups and downs in the showbiz industry.

Talking about Mere Paas Tum Ho, Sonya said that before Ayeza Khan, she was offered the role of Mehwish, however, she had some reservations about it and secondly, she was busy in an other project therefore, she had refused to do the role.

Moreover, Sonya applauded Ayeza Khan for doing justice with the role.
