YDA-Secy regulations diaologue inconclusive
LAHORE: The dialogue between Young Doctors Association (YDA) and Secratary Regulation remained inconclusive on the issuance of notification regarding regularization of 1,800 doctors.

In a press statement issued here on Thursday, the Young Doctors Association has alleged that the Secretary is the main hurdle in the regularization of doctors.

YDA Pakistan office bearers Dr Rana Sohail, Dr SalmanKazmi, Dr Talha Sherwani, Dr Ghulam Qasim and others have also alleged the Secretary was using delaying tactics to create disappointment among the doctors community and forcing doctors to stage a sit-in in front of the Punjab Assembly.

The notification for amendment of two service rules for Assistant Professors, Senior Registrars and District Specialists was still pending with the Secretary Regulations, they added.

The file was lying with the Regulations Department and the secretary was not willing to issue the notification, they said.

The young doctors have appealed to the Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif, Sardar Zulfiqar Khan Khosa, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Senator Pervaz Rashid and Dr. Asad Ashraf to hold the Secretary accountable and direct him to issue the notification of amendment of service rules on top priority.
