Three killed, six injured in coach-trailer collision

MIANWALI: Three people were killed while six others including a woman were injured in a head on collision between a passenger coach and a trailer at Mianwali-Multan Road near Harnoli Morr, about 20 km from here on Friday night.

A Bhakkar-bound coach (9593) was on its way from Mianwali which collided with a trailer coming from opposite direction, eye witnesses told APP.

Those died were identified as Muhammad Yamin s/o Kanwar Khan of Qudratabad, Muhammad Mushataq, Ghulam Haqqani s/o Ghulam Jan of Jandawala.

The injured included :Sakina w/o Pervaiz, Wasim Khan s/o Muhammad Khan, Anayat Ullah s/o Abdullah all the three residents of Jandawala, Ramazan s/o Munawar of Harnoli, Abdul Ghaffar s/o Mohsin and Rustam Aziz s/o Ghulam Haidar both residents of Kalor Kot.

Rescue 1122 rushed to the spot and shifted the injured and the bodies to DHQ Mianwali. Two of injured are in critical condition.

The drivers of both vehicles managed to flee from the scene.

Case was not registered till filing of the report.
