Talented Pakistani actor Adnan Siddiqui has won the hearts of millions of fans as he showed off his singing skills.

Adnan, who is currently portraying the role of Shahwar in drama serial Mere Paas Tum Ho, enthralled the audience with the patriotic song Sohni Dharti in a TV show in Lahore’s freezing weather.

The video of Adnan’s singing is doing rounds on the internet and have won the hearts of the millions of his fans and patriotic Pakistanis.

The Mere Paas Tum Ho actor took to Instagram to share the video and some photos from the show. He wrote, “Was in freezing Lahore for a day. I didn’t carry my flute to the show so when I was asked to play that, I chose the harmonium on the set instead.”

He went on to say, “Loved belting one of my fav song - Sohni Dharti. Each time you hear this song, it makes you more proud of your soil, your nation. Allah humare mulk ko hamesha aabaad rakhey, aameen! (May Allah keep our country progressing forever [sic].”

Last year, Adnan Siddiqui played flute on the lyrics of Aye Rahe Haq Ke Shaheedon to pay tribute to the security forces of Pakistan.

He had said, “Aye Rahe Haq Ke Shaheedon... this national song always brings tears to my eyes. The selfless service our soldiers do is beyond imagination. It’s a thankless job, I don’t know how many of us realise that we’re living in peace because of our soldiers guarding the nation day and night.”

He went on to say “They sacrifice their lives for us and for our motherland. I would just like to thank them by dedicating this song to them. Come hail, come storm they never step back from fulfilling their duties and keep our flag flying high.

Salute to each and every brave soul. Pakistan Zindabad!”
