ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani said Saturday the government would implement Supreme Court orders on the reinstatement of Zafar Qureshi as the chief investigative officer in the NICL scam case, Geo News reported.
Speaking to reporters, the Prime Minister said the resignations of MQM ministers had not been accepted "we have not accepted MQM resignations, until they are accepted; they will have the status of ministers."
On the violence in Karachi the Prime Minister said this was a provincial issue "I have asked for the report, when the report will come we will publish it" Gilani said.
He said the government respected the mandate of the provinces, and it was the responsibility of provinces to "protect the life and property of people."
On the issue of Dr. Ghulam Fai, the Prime Minister said he was not a Pakistani and discussions will be held when the accusations of Fai being an ISI agent were proven.
