Rishi Kapoor’s sister Ritu Nanda passes away

Ritu Nanda, daughter of late Bollywood actor-filmmaker Raj Kapoor and sister of Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor, died of cancer in New Delhi on Tuesday.

Seventy-one-year old Ritu was diagnosed with cancer in 2013.

Ritu’s brother Randhir Kapoor confirmed her death reports saying she died early morning today.

He went on to say that her funeral will be held in Delhi today.

Ranbir Kapoor’s mother Neetu Kapoor and sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahani also confirmed Ritu’s death in their respective Instagram posts.

Sharing a photo with Ritu, Neetu wrote, "My dearest may your soul Rest In Peace."

Riddhima wrote: “To the kindest most gentle person I‘ve ever met - They don’t make them like you anymore - RIP bua #missyoualways.”
