18 injured as bus falls from bridge

KARACHI: At least 18 people were hurt when a passenger coaster fell from the bridge on Super highway in Karachi, rescue sources said.

According to the rescue sources, the incident took place when the coaster was moving from New Sabzi Mandi to Sohrab Goath, injuring 18 people.

Rescue teams rushed to the site soon after the incident and shifted all injured people to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. All injured belong to the same family and are residents of Orangi Town.

Talking to Geo News, coaster driver said that incident took place when he tried to save a dog on main road.
