KARACHI: Pakistan’s number one snooker player Imran Shahzad beat Sohail Shahzad in straight frames to win the Ranking Snooker Championship. It had been nine years since a cueist won a snooker championship in straight frames.
The tournament was held at the Karachi club and Imran displayed fantastic form on the way to claiming the championship. Imran won the final 8-0. Sohail Shahzad who ended up on the losing end said he would try to perform better at upcoming events.
