PCB announces Zimbabwe tour schedule
LAHORE: International cricket will return to Pakistan next month as Zimbabwe will tour the country.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shahryar Khan announced that Zimbabwe would be arriving in Pakistan on 19 May.

The PCB chairman also announced the schedule for the tour which includes two T20s and three ODIs. The entire series will be played in Lahore.

The T20s will be played on May 22 and 24 will the ODIs will take place on May 26,29 and 31.

Earlier, Zimbabwe Cricket Chairman Wilson Manse confirmed his team’s tour.

Wilson Manse was quoted on Twitter by Zimbabwe Cricket as saying: “We have taken cognisance of all the factors for us to arrive at this decision, so let’s not be alarmist about the situation in Pakistan.”

Pakistan has not seen international cricket since March, 2009 when the Sri Lankan cricket team was attacked in Lahore. Since the attack Pakistan have had to play their homes matches in UAE.
