FAISALABAD: Cooperation among various departments including divisional and district administrations and police has been strengthened to maintain law and order during the holy month of Ramzan-ul-Mubarak.
This was stated by Divisional Commissioner (DC) Syed Tahir Husain while chairing a meeting held here Wednesday to review security arrangements in Faisalabad division. The heads ofvarious departments and parliamentarians were also present.
The commissioner said that cooperation of parliamentarians was much imperative to maintain law and order in addition to weeding out street crimes completely from Faisalabad.
About development pace of work, he told that 100 percent use of available funds had been ensured to complete public welfare projects without any delay and in this regard, efforts of DCO Naseem Sadiq are very much appreciable.
He said that anti encroachment campaign in Faisalabad was going on with full swings with the cooperation of local politicians.
DCO Naseem Sadiq informed the meeting about Ramzan arrangements and said that as many as 17 daily Ramzan Bazaars were setup in district Faisalabad to provide standard goods of daily use on concessionary rates during the holy month of Ramzan.
The parliamentarians expressed satisfaction over the pace of developmental work and appreciated the administrative efforts of DCO Naseem Sadiq for completing projects of beautification of Faisalabad city.
Among these parliamentarians include MPAs Khwaja Muhammad Islam, Ch.Shafiq Gujjar, Rae Ejaz Husain Kharl, Joel Aamir Sahutra, Anjum Safdar, Afshan Farooq and Ghazal Rana.
