FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) constructed 2 new grid stations and installed 12 power transformers including 6 of 40-MVA and 6 of 20/26-MVA capacity during last year.
This was stated by Manager of Grid Station Construction (GSC) FESCO Sheikh Akhtar Husain while inaugurating a new power transformer of 40-MVA at 132-KV Sargodha-II Grid Station on Wednesday.
He said that 40-MVA power transformers were so far installed at 132-KV Mianwali, Kamalia, Narwala Road, Sargodha City, Sargodh-II, Mureed Wala and Jaranwala City grid station where new capacitors were installed on 396 units of 14 grid stations during previous fiscal year. He told that new installations will help not only in improving FESCO service but also reduce public complaints regarding low voltage, overloading and issuance of new electricity connections.
Manager Operation Sargodha Circle Malik Ashfaq Ahmad also accompanied Manager GSC Sheikh Akhtar Husain who commissioned the newly installed 40-MVA power transformer and prayed for its durability.
