Rickshaw union wants reduction in LPG prices
MULTAN: Pasban rickshaw union has appealed to the government to reduce prices of liquid petroleum gas (LPG) from existing Rs 130 to Rs 105 per kilogram to provide relief to the people during holy month of Ramzan.

In a meeting of the rickshaw union chaired by its president Sufi Mohammad Siddiq, the participants also demanded of the government to reduce CNG closure schedule from 2.5 days to one day to ensure better transportation facilities to people during the holy month.

Sufi Mohammad Siddiq commended the government on initiative of conversion of two-stroke rickshaw into four stroke and giving relief in payment of fine on route permits from 2005 to 2011. Heexpressed the hope that soon steps would be taken to provide subsidy to rickshaw owners.

Abdul Majeed, Rana Shafiq, Zahoor Ahmad Bhutta, Rauf Qureshiand other office bearers were present in the meeting, says apress release issued by the rickshaw union.
