Martin Scorsese's daughter says her father enjoyed Eminem's Oscars performance

Francesca Scorsese, the  daughter of Hollywood director Martin Scorsese, has opened up about what his father thought of Eminem's performance at the Oscars on Sunday.

Scorsese and his daughter were among scores of prominent figures whose videos and  photos circulated social media as fans reacted to Slim Shady's performance of "Lose Yourself".

The videos and pictures doing the rounds on social media showed  Martin Scorsese, sitting next to his daughter with his both eyes closed during Eminem's performance. 

Some social media users thought the renowned director's expressions suggested he was probably not a fan of Eminem's music. 

A day after the event, Francesca Scorsese has reportedly cleared the air with regard to his dad's reaction to the song.

According to Francesca Scorsese, Martin enjoyed Eminem's performance as much as anybody else present at the 92nd Academy Awards ceremony.

"He likes to close his eyes when he listens to stuff," read the caption of a photo that was apparently linked to Francesca.
