ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said on Sunday that reports linking Prime Minister Imran Khan's wife Bushra Bibi to administrative changes in Punjab were "baseless" and "far from reality".

In a couple of tweets, the prime minister's aide said that connecting the government's decisions to Bushra Bibi's recent Pakpattan visit was disappointing.

Speaking more about the First Lady's visit Pakpattan, Dr Firdous said that everyone deserved protocol and respect in accordance with their position.

"I will reveal the facts about the Pakpattan incident after I get to know about the facts," she said, referring to Bushra Bibi as the "pride of Pakistan".
