Quetta journalists hold protest against colleague's thrashing

QUETTA: Quetta Journalists on Saturday held demonstration in protest against the thrashing of a TV reporter and cameraman.

Some officials of a security agency allegedly manhandled and lashed certain TV journalists when on the complaint of the people, they were recording the scene.

Reacting to the incident, large number of Journalists from print and electronic medial outlets gathered at the site of incident and started raising slogans and demanded arrest of the BC men.

Later, on the firm assurance by the Bijli police station officials, and after the arrest of the BC personnel, they ended the demonstration.

Police ahve started probe into the incident.
