KARACHI: Seven people have so far been killed today including a chief manager of a private bank and an activist of a political party in separate incidents of firing in various parts of the city, Geo News reported.
According to police, in Jafar Tayyar Society unknown armed men fired and killed a youth, who the sources said, belonged to a political party.
Unidentified suspects riding a motor cycle showered bullets on a chief manager of a private bank here at I.I. Chundrigar Road. The man died on the spot. Police termed it a target-killing incident.
In Malir-15 a man was shot dead.
According to police, attackers fired and killed another man in Baldia Town sector-12 E. His body was shifted to Civil Hospital.
A body was found dumped in North Nazimabad. The man had been kidnapped before being tortured and later he was shot dead.
A body of a youth with torture wounds was also recovered from Miran Naka, Lyari.
In a firing incident one man was injured in Baldia Town.
In Qasba Colony area a man was killed and another injured as a result of an exchange of fire between two groups.
