HYDERABAD: A 70-bed Mother and Child Care Centre in Nazir Hussain Medical Complex has started functioning with the inauguration by Deputy Convener Muttahida Quomi Movement MNA Dr. Farooq Sattar here at a simple but impressive ceremony Saturday evening.
The project cost Rs 100million.
The Mother and Child Care Centre is the first phase of Nazir Hussain Medical Complex being completed by Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation of MQM in three phases aimed to cater for the need of not only the citizens of Hyderabad but also the patients from interior parts of Sindh.
The medical complex named after Nazir Hussain, father of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain would provide medical care to the people without any discrimination through state of the art medical equipment, said Dr. Farooq Sattar in his concluding speech which earlier scheduled to be delivered by MQM Chief Altaf Hussain but could not address due to unavoidable circumstances.
