No relief in trains late by 7 hours

QUETTA: The up and down trains here continue running inordinately delayed piling miseries to the hapless passengers, who have no option but to keep waiting on the crowded platforms for hours with little necessary facilities available, especially for the women and children suffering most.

Railway sources told that Bolan Mail from Karachi expected to arrive seven hours late at 10.45 P.M. in the night here. Similarly Jaffar Express from Rawalpindi would be arriving seven and a half hours late and Quetta Express from Peshawar six hours.

Late arrivals of trains here has become a normal feature, wreaking havoc to the fasting passengers in this hot and humid weather.
