LAHORE: Pakistan Railways is experiencing a loss of Rs 3.8 million daily due to the temporary closure of 45 passenger trains including the Quetta Express, Geo News reported.

Meanwhile delays in arrival and departures of trains continue to create problems for passengers.

A railways’ departmental document has revealed that 45 trains including the Quetta Express which run on branch and main lines have been temporarily closed. Some of the important trains which have been closed include the Faiz Express, Peshawar Passenger, Lahore-Faisalabad train, Lahore-Sargodha and Lahore-Narowal. The closure of these trains has created more problems for passengers who already have to face delays of 2-8 hours.
