ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Pervez Rashid Thursday accusing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman, Imran Khan of becoming an in distorting the truth, said it was high time he ‘quit lying’.
In a media statement, Pervez Rashid said Imran Khan himself put forth the terms of reference for investigation of the alleged rigging of elections.
He said now Imran Khan was trying to obtain a decision in his own favour by ‘pressurizing’ the courts. “Imran Khan is trying to influence the tribunal's decision,” he added.
The Information Minister asked Imran as to where the report says there were 30000 bogus votes cast in the election contest for NA-122.
He said ther report says Ayaz Sadiq had bagged 92,393 votes while Imran Khan had secured 84,542 votes in NA-122.
