QUETTA: The passenger's inconveniences increased manifold following the city administration closed the only flyover of the provincial capital for traffic under security plan devised for the 64th Independence Day of country.
Traffic flow was serious affected on already busiest roads of the city including Joint Road, White Road, Mir Jaffar Jamali Road, Sppini Road as Benazir Bhutto flyover, the sole overhead bridge was closed for traffic to thwart any untoward situation on the eve of Independence Day.
The citizens, however, described it an injudicious step on the part of administration which only aggravated the sufferings of passengers.
A motorist Ali Mohammad described the closure of flyover as uncalculated security measure and said the administration should take security measures which do not disturb the routine life of the citizens.
