Two dead, three wounded in firing incidents
HYDERABAD: Two persons were killed and three others were wounded in incidents of firing in Hyderabad and Qasimabad Talukas on Saturday.

According to police, the activists of Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party (STPP) Dilshad Abro, Hamza Abro, Shakir and Imran Faisal were wounded when some unknown persons fired at a motorcycle rally in Hirabad.

The injured were taken to Liaquat University Hospital Hyderabad where Dilshad Abro died.

After learning about the death of Dilshad Abro, the workers of Sindh Taraqi Pasand party assembled at Hyderabad Bypass where they pelted stones and blocked the traffic.

They also set ablaze a police van and a motorcycle and resorted to firing in the area as a result of which, one Shabbir wounded. He was immediately evacuated to a hospital.

The police and rangers resorted to aerial firing to disperse the mob, however, one bullet hit a protester Arbab Qambrani who died before he could get any first aid.

The situation remained tense in the area as till filing of this report, the activists of Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party were protesting against the death of Dilshad Abro and Arbab Qambrani.
