LAHORE: CNG stations were closed down on Monday for two and half days in Multan, Gojranawala and Lahore region, piling miseries on the people, Geo News reported.
CNG supply will be restored after two and half days closure on Wednesday evening at 6.00 P.M. in this region. The citizens have been forced to run their vehicles on petrol, while the rickshaw and taxi drivers taking advantage of the thin public carriers charging whimsical fares from the hapless commuters.
The citizens said that the government should resort to load shedding in all sectors equally giving no chance of complaint. They said that such a prolonged cut off of CNG supply perpetrated on the people already severely hit by hyperinflation and unprecedented unemployment was a great injustice and tyranny, which must cease forthwith.
CNG station owners said that the investments in this sector suffering most by the three-day CNG holiday.
