ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police Wednesday arrested 12 outlaws and recovered a stolen car, a motorbike, 117 bottles of wine, 2.835 kilogram heroin, and two pistols, a police spokesman said.
Following the directions of IGP Islamabad and Bani Amin Khan for crackdown against anti-social elements in the city, police were put on high alert.
During this special anti-crime drive, ASI Muhammad Hanif from Shehzad Town Police Station nabbed Sheezan alias Jani recovering 80 bottles of wine from him, while ASI Javed Iqbal from Shalimar Police Station apprehended Haroon Anwer Masih with 17 bottles of wine.
ASI Abdul Hafeez from CIA Police nabbed three carjackers, namely Afraz, Ilyas,and Ashraf, while ASI Nur Ahmed from Margllah Police Center collared Sohail Akhtar and Ismail Masih for stealing a motorbike
Sub-Inspectors Nusrat Ali and Ameer Umer from Golra Police Station copped Muhammad Abrar and Ameer Muhammad for carrying an unlicensed pistol and 130 grams of heroin.
Sub-Inspector Yar Muhammad and ASI Muhammad Muneer from Tarnol Police Station nabbed Jabber Khan and Badal Khan with 2.705 kg heroin. (APP)
