KARACHI: Wobbly world markets Friday weighed on local stocks bringing Karachi Stock Exchange’s (KSE) benchmark index down by nearly 249 points. The KSE 100-Index gave up 2.23 percent, or 248.70 points, to finish lower at 10,879.82 on the rollover day. Trade volume was recorded at 41.01 million shares, as against 41.62 million shares traded on Thursday. Market players said the market was also jittery as world stocks extended steep losses from Thursday. (Reuters)
